Andrew is responsible for new product design and implementation and product management primarily for the Electronic Trading Services unit at Nomura.
In his current role, this work has extended to include the development of Nomura’s dark pool offering NX, leading the team that created the first investment bank based MTF dark pool. 
Additionally the role covers smart routing, dark routing, and all MTF access and coordination. Outside of cash equities, Andrew has taken the electronic offering into new asset classes, covering Sector Swaps, Custom Index Swaps, Convertible Bonds and listed derivatives.  The team additionally manages all the electronic vendor relationships, covering implementation of Nomura’s product suite on third party vendor platforms.
Following the acquisition by Nomura of the European and Asian equities business of Lehman Brothers, Andrew managed the team that lead the electronic product integration.  Andrew originally joined Lehman Brothers in 2004 to oversee the implementation of the firm’s new global connectivity system and market side connectivity platforms, focussing on the cash equity DMA and algorithmic trading franchise and related electronic services. 
Prior to Lehman Brothers, Andrew spent 7 years at Dresdner Kleinwort initially in front office product development and then for 5 years as head of the firm's institutional connectivity and order management activity.  Having grown up in Hong Kong, Andrew started working in the sell side in that market 22 years ago in 1987.  He has qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG and also worked at JP Morgan.

Before joining QuantHouse, Leroy was Area Manager for BT Radianz where he established and developed the BT Radianz activity since its formation in 2000 throughout Continental Europe. Mr. Leroy began his career in 1992 at Borland, where he held several marketing positions. He then joined AT&T Global Information Solutions France as a marketing and sales manager. He moved later on to NCR Global Services (formerly called AT&T Global Information Solutions) to become the Head of Global Account Sales for Europe. Leroy divides his time between the U.K., the US and Continental Europe. Mr Leroy holds a Master of Computer Science Engineering and Mathematics from ESME/SUDRIA of Paris. Bill Ruvo has over 20 years experience in financial services and market data. He is currently Global Business Manager for Reuters Real Time Datafeeds where he is responsible for overall strategy and execution.  Prior to his current role, Bill headed up Reuters direct feeds strategy in North America.  Before joining Reuters, Bill was with the Interactive Data Corporation where he was Vice President, Business Development with responsibility for Interactive Data’s real-time non-organic growth strategy with specific emphasis on direct exchange initiatives.  During Ruvo’s tenure with Interactive Data he also held the position of Vice President of Strategic Account Sales.   Before Interactive Data, Bill was Vice President of Sales for Moneyline Telerate and prior to that, he held sales management positions with Bang Networks, 4Cast and Dow Jones Telerate.  Ruvo began his career with Prudential Financial in its institutional asset management organization.  He holds a BS in Finance from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Kee-Meng Tan

Mr. Tan heads the Electronic Trading Group (ETG) in Europe and is responsible for the introduction of Knight Link, the firm’s highly successful off-exchange liquidity source, to the European marketplace. Prior to joining Knight in November of 2008, Kee-Meng was a derivatives trader at CQS, a London-based multi-strategy hedge fund. Before joining CQS, Kee-Meng was the European Head of Global Execution Services at JP Morgan in London, managing 30 people in front-office positions in Europe and South Africa. Prior to that, he was the Head of Delta One Trading at ABN Amro Bank NV in Hong Kong. He was also Head of Asian Portfolio Trading at Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Securities and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Tan started his career as a Financial Analyst at Commercial Union Capital Corp. for leveraged leasing in New York in 1984. Kee-Meng received his M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and his B.A. in Economics and Computer Science from Vassar College.

  
 

Stuart Theakston,

Stuart joined GLC in 2008 and is responsible for the high frequency trading programme.  Stuart has extensive experience of developing and managing high-frequency algorithmic trading strategies and high performance Direct Market Access (DMA) infrastructure at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank. He started his finance career in 1994 at Goldman Sachs in Prime Brokerage. He took time out to co-found an Internet venture capital start-up in 2000, before returning to investment banking in 2002. Theodoros Tsagaris

Mark Holt is Head of Implementation for the systematic trading group at Bluecrest Capital Management Ltd.  He has spent the last 15 years automating trading within and between major financial institutions. Joined Bluecrest after 5 years at UBS where he was responsible for the architecture and development of their European algorithmic trading platform. Before that he spent 7 years at Morgan Stanley and was involved in the development of their global electronic trading platform as well as the implementation of a number of automated trading strategies for cash and derivatives markets.   After qualifying as a production engineer he obtained a Masters researching the application of the innovation process by individuals and companies.  This research has formed the basis of his subsequent career.

Rafael Molinero is the CEO and Founder of Molinero Capital Management, a quantitative CTA based in London. Rafael has more than 10 years of experience in the hedge fund and financial industry. He was previously a Proprietary Portfolio Manager as well as the Risk Manager for five years at Rotella Capital Management, a CTA with up to $1.5 billion under management. He traded $15 million of proprietary capital using quantitative models he developed. He also managed a team of researchers as well as created the Risk Department. Prior to his role at Rotella, he launched the Structured Products & Alternative Asset Management Group at Newedge and designed hedge funds structured products for clients. He was also in charge of managing one of the Fund of Funds portfolio.

Morgan in July 1999 and has held various eTrading roles prior to accepting his current position in October 2009.   Previous to J.P. Morgan, Antonio held junior positions at Gesmosa Brokers and Banco Central Hispano, both in Madrid.

Christopher D. Clack is Director of Financial Computing at UCL.  He founded UCL's Virtual Trading Floor and MSc in Financial Computing, and has secured funds exceeding 4 million pounds in the last three years.  He is Head of Financial Computing and Quantitative Finance research at UCL and has recently been awarded the Doctor of Science (ScD) by the University of Cambridge (their highest award for science).  He is CEO and Founding Principal of the Centre for Financial Computing and Director of the new Financial Services Knowledge Transfer Network.  Christopher regularly chairs and presents at both industry and academic international conferences.   He is an expert on Intelligent Systems and their application in Finance, with particular interest in genetic computation and agent-based modelling.  He has 20 years experience as a consultant to blue-chip clients such as Accenture, Clearstream, CrestCo, LloydsTSB, Morgan Stanley and Reuters, at all levels of Investment Banking Technology from payment and settlement systems to non-linear factor models for portfolio optimisation.

 John Lowrey is Chief Executive Officer of Chi-X Global.  Mr. Lowrey was previously a Managing Director of Nomura International plc, where he had global responsibility for electronic trading and liquidity strategy.  Prior to Nomura, Mr. Lowrey served as Lehman Brothers’ Head of Electronic Trading in Europe, as well as Global co-head of Prime Services Product Management and Quantitative Prime Services – which provided services to high frequency trading firms.  He joined Lehman in 2002. After starting his career in the early 1980’s with Goldman Sachs, where he ran equities trading in London for four years, he then was a  co-founding partner of Weiss International Management, a global hedge fund based in the United States, and managed this and a successor hedge fund business for over 10 years.  A graduate of Georgetown University, Mr. Lowrey is married with four children, and is based in London.

Neil has Trader Registration on all major Euro-Stock and Futures Exchanges and is a member of the Institute of Investment Management and Research.
